AMERICANA eBooks

32 Titles

AMERICANA eBooks is a division of AMERICANA – E-Journal of American Studies in Hungary, published by the Department of American Studies, University of Szeged, Hungary. Similarly to the aims of the e-journal, AMERICANA eBooks seeks to publish studies on a variety of topics concerning American Studies, from literature to sociology, from film to digital culture, from history to political science. Our aim is to provide a forum for young scholars seeking quality publishing – researchers who wish to contribute innovative and new approaches and methodologies to the field.

When the e-journal launched in 2005, we cast our vote on digital publishing, since we believed that would be the best way to reach thousands of readers, and we wished to experiment with this novel way of hypertextual release. With launching AMERICANA eBooks, we stay on this path and wish to publish our books as e-books, compatible with computers and most of the best known and increasingly popular e-book readers.

We are strongly committed to open access publication, thus do not charge for our books and do not use DRM or other restrictive mechanisms. Readers can download our books for free without any registration process to go through. All our books are published under the Creative Commons license.
