Synopsis
"This book begins with a history of the development of long-term care and robocare (Chapter 1) and delves into the impact of robocare on older adults and caregivers in long-term care settings through an examination of the necessity of robocare (Chapter 2), the dilemmas and challenges it faces (Chapters 3 ), as well as an analysis of the various different forms care (Chapter 4) and types of faciliities (Chapter 5-8) to provide an overview of the current development and state of robocare, and concludes with an analysis of robocare and the older adult abuse and negelect (Chapter 9) to provide an outlook and apprehension about the future."
